Evidently the negative reviews are from people who were too impatient to wait for high tide. I live in the area and use this beach at least once a week for kayaking and sailing my small car-top sailboat. The beach is only 500-600 feet long....but is great for sun bathing, sand castles, fishing or swimming....although, with over 4 feet of... More

It was ok but very little to do there. It was really small. Not much room to walk the dog even. But for what was there it was a nice beach.

I wasn't looking for a marshmallow beach but it's what nature has brought here, you'll need rubber boots to check for shells and I'll bet get cut up good on the scallop shells from the past if you try swimming, but it is calm, but not much there if your looking for a Daytona beach this ain't it

This is a peaceful and quiet gulf coast beach. Relatively still waters, and not crowded... Like I said, peaceful. We love this beach. If you want to complain about no restaurants or whatever else... maybe this isn't the place for you. For a relaxing and tranquil visit, stop here.

I've been to this place several times, but I doubt I will go back. Not much beach, one little hot dog stand, and a pier. That's it. Better to go farther south to Steinhatchee or farther north towards Panacea.

The beach is very small with limited facilities, but very peaceful and nice. The pier was destroyed by recent hurricane activity but when it is there it is great for fishing. No restaurants or hotel facilities nearby - an RV park is very near

It was quite a drive off the main highway to get to the beach. It was just ok, not a beach that I would drive to again. I went once, and I'm good.

Keaton Beach, located off the beaten path of Perry, Fl was a nice kept secret. Although we visited after some of the Hurricane damage, we were surprised that it was all able to be cleaned up promptly and the beach itself was not poorly affected. The rocks overlooking the water are picture perfect for couples or families. We can not... More

We were in Perry and wanted to drop down and drive along the coast south. Ran across this delightful small beach to stop and have a snack. Certainly not a destination beach but pleasant none the less.

Went to visit while camping at Perry KOA. Nice Beach area. Bring a picnic lunch and tanning gear. Many vacation homes.
