Visited on a Friday (check opening times as they vary a lot) . It is a really great place to see many WWI & WW2 aircraft, most of which are in flying condition in very bright and clean conditions. Nice gift shop area, plenty of parking. Pleasant knowledgeable staff, suggest taking the guided tour as these guys know a lot... More

A lot of great looking planes. Did the tour and learned a lot about the plane from way back to the first world war. Hope to come back soon. Wayne from Maine.

First time visitor. Great guided tour. Learning a lot and having the opportunity of flying around Polk City. Better than expected.

It was sad to see the gates were locked when we went to visit - we were told down the street that they only do events and personal openings now. We wee there several years ago and loved the old planes - hopefully maybe they will get some funding to reopen.

Disappointed that only a small hanger is now open. When we visited a few years ago it was a must for aircraft enthusiasts but no longer, a waste of fuel travelling there

Kermit Weeks, founder of “Fantasy of Flight” (FOF), has such a hard job. He must decide which of these beautifully restored aircraft to fly on any particular day. My sarcasm aside, here’s an excerpt of his bio: “For Fantasy of Flight founder Kermit Weeks, the opening of his aviation-themed attraction has been a natural extension of a lifelong, unbounded passion... This is a great place if you want to see some ww1 and ww2 planes. They have a couple older cars and some airplane cockpits you can sit in. Its not as big as it use to be because of a major remodel they're going through right now. They do have a little gift shop and restrooms.

This is scaled down considerably from a my last visit quite a few years ago, Still very cool, and worth the time to visit. There's about 24 planes on display.

Oddly enough we came to take our family holiday pictures here. We dressed the part in our 1940's garb and had a blast. Everyone was very nice and the facility is fantastic. We didn't take the guided tour but the quality of their planes was outstanding! I would love to come back and see everything Fantasy of Flight has to... More
