NOT THE BEST COURSE I HAVE BEEN ON !!!

I'm not much of a golfer but I came here with friends who wanted to play a few holes. I found this course to be very much below par in more than one criteria. My friends did not... read more

Played there March 22, 2017. Greg Norman Pines course is a disaster. Management should be fired. Dried out, shaggy greens, dirt tees, shameful practice area. They have destroyed an otherwise fine layout. I would never return. What a shame.

Minimal irrigation results in brown Fairways and greens. Missing grass on some greens makes for bumpy surfaces. No excuse for poor maintenance. Pines course only fair. Palms is even worse. Many new trees planted but grasses are neglected. Steady decline since 2014.

Played the pines today February 19, 2017. The pace was good, but the greens were slow and bumpy. Not worth the $65.00 they charge! My first and last time playing there!

There are two courses [supposedly champion], one slightly cheaper, the Palms, layout within the outer Pines course [the one with the Greg Norman layout touted]. We played early June so efforts being made to reestablish from winter. We decided to go for the more expensive green fee based on it being a Norman course and the proshop recommendation. However, there... More

Played the Pines course mid-week. Not many people so that was great! Really liked the course lay out but some grass was in rough shape. A raccoon took my water cup out of the cart!! Watch out. 😀. Loved watching the blimp take off/land. Greens were very good for a public course.

A nice city course and comfortable to play after the winter lay off. On completion of the round I had lunch at their very nice restaurant at the outside bar

Green fees are reasonable and like every other course they really go down early April. The course is in great shape it has something for every golfer. Course is flat with bunkers in places that you might not like to see. An extra is the Goodyear blimp. Is based right next to the course.

If you are looking for a good place to to have a day of golf don't go here. You feel like you are in the hood. The people that take your money are behind bulletproof glass! Really, is Pompano that dangerous? Then you have to go to a different place to get a range token. These people are not behind... More

This golf course is a disgrace and has been for the past 4-5 years. Both the Palms and the Pines have big problems. Save your money and go to a course that is well cared for and offers a real golf experience. There are so many things wrong it would be too much to go into detail. The one shining... More
