We loved our canoe trip through the river. I wanted to see an alligator and we had 3 sightings! We chose the 2 hr. rental and were on the river from 11-1 PM. The cranes and hawks were visible and there were tons of jumping fish. The canoeing is easy and the water is calm. A perfect adventure!!

My Husband and I decided to check out cracker creek. We walked around the beautiful grounds andsaid hello to several peacocks and cats. We decided to take out a couple of their kayaks. We truly enjoyed it. It's so peaceful strolling along the creek. We enjoyed the scenery and some of the wildlife. We were literally in our back yard... More

Great place to paddle or try a hydrobike. It's a blackwater creek, very scenic and an easy paddle. They also have narrated boat rides. The grounds are lovely with peacocks roaming about. The old Gamble place has recently been reopened, it's next door to CC and definitely worth a visit. This is a hidden gem in the middle of Port... More

The hosts at this facility are very accommodating and informative. We were a very small group, but they agreed to take us out with just a small upcharge.

This is a casual yet fun place to visit whether you are a local or a guest. You can rent kayaks, or a water bike or take a boat tour. We have done all of the above mentioned and had a great time. The grounds are pleasant, the staff is friendly yet informative and it gives you a taste of... More

The Cracker Creek people were friendly and knowledgeable. The price for 2 hours of kayaking was very reasonable. My wife thinks the bathrooms are fantastic. They are upgrading things, so we hope they will buy the lighter-weight curved paddles next.

We did a couples river tour on their pontoon boat. It was a great way to see the creek/river and see some alligators along the way. They did caution us that we might not see any, but we saw several. The narration was fun and informative and they kept the pace about right all the way downstream and back.

Live near, enjoy going kayaking down the creek, take my own kayak and pay a small launch fee. Easy paddle with great scenery and a peacock or two waiting for your return. You can also enjoy the Gamble Place name after James N. Gamble (of Procter & Gamble) "A historic home, cottage and Citrus Packing House. "Florida cracker-style" house, named... More
