The River Lilly is a 34-passenger pontoon boat, licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard and owned by Eddie and Stephanie Hamrick. Eddie is a U.S. Coast Guard licensed Captain.

The cruise, on parts of the river so wild they were used in the James Bond film Moonraker to represent a tributary of the Amazon, is on the same waters used by early settlers and Native Americans. Each trip is different, but you're sure to see alligators, turtles and lots of native birds, maybe even playful otters or gentle manatees.

Plan on a river tour filled with information and Nature watching lasting about 1 1/2 hours. Captain Ed and his wife are knowledgeable guides able to narrate, point out and describe all the living things in, on and around the waterway. Bring binoculars and a camera to fully enjoy the scenery. If you have additional time. There are trails around... More

This river cruise was a great experience. We were shown many alligators, various birds and beautiful scenery. Steph, our guide was able to point out and describe all of the interesting things we were seeing. I highly recommend this outing.

We were traveling and used this as a meeting point with friends we don't get to see often. and It worked out great. We ran a little late, and with a phone call they waited 10 minutes past departure for us. The 90 minute tour was just as I'd script it. Very welcoming, clean from parking lot to restrooms to... This river trip far exceeded my expectations. The captain and his wife were so knowledgeable of both floral and fauna. They worked hard to make sure everyone on board got a first hand look at what ever we spotted. That included gators, turtles, ibis, herons,osprey..... Definitely take in this tour.

What a nice way to spend 90 minutes, floating along the ECO-friendly Saint Lucie River. The Coast Guard certified Captain and his ECO-smart Wife are constantly spotting and educating about what you are looking at. Folks who are more disposed to enjoying talking to friends and family may miss nature passing by. Not that relaxing on the boat is a... More

We took our NJ Relatives on this Fun Little Cruise as a 'Local' Treat for our first time today. Ed & Steph are such caring proprietors that create an amazing experience on their daily cruise. The Wildlife is interesting, not blow your sock off, but it is the reality of our awesome natural river. The natural pristine preserved Nature of... More

Had friends visiting from New York and decided to try this cruise, especially since it is located so close to our home. We had never tried it before, so we made the phone call and made reservations. Apparently there is a minimum number of riders required. The hosts were very nice and extremely knowledgeable about the North Fork and the... More

Thank you very much for taking the time to review us. We are glad to have had the opportunity to show your out of town guests a little slice of old Florida. Just to clarify the reservations serve two purposes. We do have a minimum required to operate the boat but we also have a maximum capacity of 34 as... More

I've taken this boat ride several times when I have visitors. It is OK, but not great. It just boats thru part of the north fork of the St. Lucie river. I enjoyed the boat ride that used to go out of Veteran's Park better, especially with one of the very informative captains. Unfortunately, that cruise is no longer in... More

Thank you for taking the time to review us. Our cruise location and the one that operated 5 miles south of us are indeed apples and oranges. Capt Ray operated in an area that has more historical significance to the port st Lucie area and less opportunity to see wildlife where we are the opposite. Our trip is wildlife oriented... More

Call and make a reservation. Family of four arrived and sat down in the boat, unfortunately when questioned if they had a reservation they said "No, we just thought we could show up". The boat was full with reservations and they got the boot. Also credit cards are not accepted. The Capt. and first mate make a great team, and... More

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. We try our best to make sure everyone on board gets an opportunity to see the wildlife. Especially when we are fortunate enough to spot manatee.
