February was a dry month, good for trail conditions, but we didn't see much but the local plant life. We later went to the campground off Midway Road and saw a few ducks and an... More

We did the kayak tour in the marsh and loved it. Beautiful and peaceful. The guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. They really took the time to show and explain to the whole group (even those like me who get distracted and lag behind).

I've never seen so much wildlife. We encountered rabbits, turtles, and tons of different bird species. The Osprey were phenomenal!

My friend and I recently took a stroll through the savannas, more specifically hawks bluff. I must say, it is quite the hidden gem. 10/10 would recommend.

I came here three times during late December to go birding and hiking. Never did see a Florida Scrub-Jay here (probably not enough oak scrub where I was at) but saw plenty of other birds: Bald Eagle, Short-Tailed Hawk, American Kestrel, Merlin, Loggerhead Shrike, Osprey, Wood Stork, White Ibis, Glossy Ibis, Sandhill Crane. I hiked on about 10 miles of... More

We went on a nice midweek day with cooler than usual temperatures and we had a great time hiking and biking. We went somewhere between 6 and 7 miles between white, yellow and red trails. This area is not visited by many people but is an excellent example of what happens when people the no ahead. Well thought out and with specimum. Trees is a delightful place to view all sorts of shore birds and some local small animals and reptiles of the area. A nice thing is as seasons change so do the birds.
