Enjoyed an afternoon of the unusual items in the collection. It is interesting to see what catches the eye of a collector!

We walked here while waiting for the distillery to open. It was quiet and we enjoyed walking around to read about the history.

What a fabulous museum! A hidden gem. You know it's going to be good when you walk into its' courtyard. In a town full of honky tonk and tourist traps, this is the real deal. Four floors of an eclectic mix of interesting finds. We got to hear a demonstration of the music boxes. If you're there during lunch, make... More

This museum was probably my favorite "fun" attraction that I experienced while in the city - there's tons of fun stuff to gander at, as opposed to some museums that just have paintings or traditional artifacts - there was a wide array of collections ranging from dolls and clothes to a real life mummy to a large stuffed lion. We enjoyed walking through the displays of Victorian glassware, furniture, paintings and assorted odd collections . The docents were friendly and knowledgeable . A great way to spend and hour or so immersed in a different era. The architecture of the building was amazing, also.

many different collections that are historical and different. Tiffany lamps to old doll houses. even a view and old photos of when this building had a glamorous indoor swimming pool in the roaring 20's era and you can look down from the balcony to see where it was! take time to explore this building and go back in time!
