Grimm was an excellent guide. He is very entertaining. He makes the experience more than just a tour.

See how the first European inhabitants lived and survived in St Augustine. Well worth the visit to see tools and artifacts from that period.

You can do a self guided tour, but a guided tour (The is a cost and it is about 1 hour long) is worth the cost. The tour guide is dressed in a period costume and will give several examples of how things were done 400 plus years ago in St. Augustine. Very interesting.

Made a quick stop here when we needed a break from walking. I didn't find it amazing or anything, but it was interesting regardless. We must have stopped in on a bad day, as I don't recall anyone dressed up in character while we were there.

Wonderful and informative tour of local history! Don't miss Grimms tour. View from Watchtower is quite scenic.

We had a great time learning about the history of St. Augustine here with our guide Grimm. The museum has outside and inside displays. There are large colorful plaques detailing items and areas in English and Spanish. You can go on a guided tour or walk around by yourself. The tower offers great 360 views.

The Spanish Quarter is now incorporated into the Colonial Quarter Tour. Grimm was our docent and he did an outstanding job of explaining 300 years of history. Grimm's demonstration at the blacksmith shop was exact to the time period. Enjoyed watching the heating of the fire and forming the iron. Grimm gave the guided portion of tour and then you... More
