Went there as it is on the Florida Birding Trail, not a whole lot of birds but a nice drive through the woods, new fishing dock, picnic area, play ground The camp ground was nice with sites that had water and electric

About 18 miles south of St. Augustine is this 20-campsite state park, a perfect hideaway for those who don't want a lot of commercial activity. The sites are spacious and private, have both electric and water and are kept immaculate. The restrooms, centrally located, are kept clean by volunteers and spotless. There is a boat ramp where canoes can be... More

Wonderful old time campground. Was a little worried about the roads and low hanging tree branches after reading the reviews. We had no problem getting in. Would have given a 5 star rating but did not because the branches on the trees coming out need to be trimmed. No major / heavy branches but little branches do scratch rvs. We... More

A bit further from the historic sites than some campgrounds, Faver-Dykes makes up for it by being quiet, secluded and friendly. The rangers are always welcoming and the sites well-maintained. My wife has decided that she doesn't mind the extra driving time to get to St. Augustine, but prefers the intimate setting.

My family rented 2 sites next to each other for pop up camping! It was great! We walked one of the trails and we drove up to the docks to check them out. Stayed for the weekend and enjoyed the trip. The rangers were happy to answer any questions and kept the park looking great! Would def go back!

Want a quite place to kick back and enjoy nature, This is it! We stayed 3 days and it was nice. Seen plenty of deer, armadillo and a huge owl. The Rangers were very nice and helpful. Would I stay again, You bet!

Travel trailer camping was nice with private sites with wooded areas between you and your neighbor. Beautiful old Florida marsh area on the Pellicer Creek. I wish the park had more hiking and biking trails, (the park has plenty of acres to make more trails). Park staff was very nice. We were going to rent a canoe, but it was... More

We have gone canoeing here and it was a lot of fun. The fishing of the docks is always fun as well. You can rent canoes from the park as well as life jackets.

We rented two canoes from Faver-Dykes State Park, we had four adults and three young children in our group. The canoe rental rate is $5 per hour. If you go for longer than 5 hours the price you pay is only $25.00. The rental includes Life jackets, they have infant to adult sizes. It also includes Seat Cushions and 2... More
