Anastasia State Park includes 1,600 acres of rich ecosystems and abundant wildlife. Explore up to four miles of pristine beach, the estuarine tidal marsh teeming with plant and animal life, or the self-guided nature trail which takes you through the maritime hammock and onto ancient sand dunes. You can also visit the Coquina Quarry, an archaeological site where coquina rock was mined to help construct the nearby Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, earning it a spot on the National Register of Historic Places.

At Anastasia, there are many recreational activities to enjoy including hiking, swimming, beachcombing, bird watching, and much more. The campground contains 139 campsites all located within the beautiful maritime hammock and just a short walk or bike ride from the beach.

Anastasia has concessions to provide guests with rental opportunities of bicycles, paddleboards, kayaks, sail boats and canoes. There is also a grill area and a small gift shop for visitors to take home an Anastasia memory. The grill location also provides Wi-Fi for visitors' use.

Great park with so many activities. Beach, hiking, kayaking, close enough to bike into town. Campsites are shady and diverse. Best time of year to avoid heat and humidity. Friendly rangers and volunteers are always helpful. The Saturday Farmers Market at the amphitheater is an added bonus.

The park and beach were very nice, the catwalk is a nice little stroll out and over the dunes to get to the Beach. the campground is old style Florida,it is very nice and has fairly secluded sites but not set up for today's size Rigs,if you are tenting or pop up camper size but narrow and very low height... We arrived at dusk but would up setting up our trailer in the dark. We had a hard time locating our site as most state parks lighting is at a bear minimum. Showers and rest rooms were clean, and well lit, our lot was great. All sites are pull through. The only draw back we had was locating the site.... More

This is a great state park. It is $8 to enter, I think that was for a car not per person. There is camping - some very private camp sites and unique to Florida. There is a lagoon and then a boardwalk that goes to the beach and ocean. You can rent water equipemnt like paddleboard and sea kayaks. There... More

3 hour walk along the beach, in 55 degree weather...envigorating, beautiful views, clean, quiet, peaceful! The weather is due to warm up this week, but talking a long walk at this time allowed a special feeling while enjoying the more brisk crispness. The $4 entrance fee was a small amount for such a lovely time.

While the weather was chilly, we were prepared and very much enjoyed our stay. We chose our site based on easy access (backing up the camper is a challenge) and enough nature between sites to offer privacy. The park is a good size, easy to navigate on a bicycle or by foot. We found the rangers to be friendly and... More

This is beautiful campground!!! Everything was just perfect!!! Beautiful clean beaches, clean camp sites, clean bathrooms & showers! It was truly comfortable and tranquil. My kids loved it!! I can't think of a single bad thing to say! $38 was beyond worth it! We were tent camping, it couldn't have been better!

Beautiful! $8 for car to enter. Parked at end near long boardwalk to beach (neat view of the lighthouse from here) and walked the beach, collected shells, saw a few folks running, or doing the same. Has a large camping area...sites seem a bit close together but folks looked happy! walked the nature trail near campsites...had some built in 'stairs'... More

A very clean and beautiful state park. The beach was enormous and I didn't see a speck of trash while visiting. My ten year old grand son enjoyed wading in the surf and while doing so we saw eight Dolphines swiming parallel to the beach about 60 feet from where we were standing. There is a snack bar, camping spaces... More

This is a great park for its trails but also for just going to the beach. They have a lot of amenities (snack stand, bathrooms, store) that are uncommon down here at the beach. It is also a nice alternative to the other beaches were cars and dogs are allowed.

Thank Elle S
