Did not climb the lighthouse as the charge was $6 per person and it is a rebuilt lighthouse. Visited the gift shop and very few local crafts but they were pricy. There was also lots of made in China merchandise.

Beautiful view. Kids loved the climb to the top. Right near the beach. Lots of parking close by. Gift shop is well stocked with souvenirs and guides who know the history of the island and lighthouse.

After years of work to save this lighthouse, it was moved and has become a centerpiece, complete with history and gift shop... Lovely addition to the main island. Behind it, replacing an old beach volleyball area that used to draw a lot of day-tripping college...More
