This was supposed to be included in our stay at the resort, and for 6 of the 7 days, they never set it up. Said it was due to weather.... 80 degrees and sunny. Bad weather for the floating water park? The day they finally set it up (closing in on 2pm), they informed us it was NOT included in... More

This was something the kids look forward to and they thought it was fine. The pics on the website make this seem like a bigger deal than it is. Also note that it's only up in ideal circumstances. Water temperature has to be above 70, low wind and waves not breaking close to set up area. For us it was... More

Different experience but too expensive for the amont of time you get for your money. You are wearing a life jacket and it's confining.

Water park sat deflated on beach all week. Kids very upset. The water was calm and the weather was beautiful.

Do not book Tradewinds on the basis you will be in the water park. In the 4 days we stayed not once did it open. From the mad to the insane of reasons why they couldn't possibly blow up the inflatables. This was high summer, the weather glorious, the water calmer than a bath. Really disappointed that it was shut,... More

The "Park" was taken down upon arrival on our first day due to a storm that never came close to the resort. It was not put out the next 2 days of our stay due to low water, wind and any other reason they could come up with to avoid setting it up. I understand safety and liability, but whoever... More

The hotel is nice, the place is full of activities but it seems like they have an excuse everyday not to use this attraction. low tide, strong current, every single day of our stay the park wasn't open. very disappointing. At least it should be advice that due to any tiny weather situation you would be missing this

We stayed at TW for 4 days and the "water park" wasn't put out once. They have a whole list of reasons why they won't. This time, apparently the water in the Gulf of Mexico was too low for four days. Do not expect it as a regular amenity at TW. It is occasional only.

While Im not sure I would call this a watermark, the collection of a variety of inflatables floating on the gulf was so much fun our kids went back the next day. Cost is not bad for all the fun they had. If you don't use the slides etc you can still swim out and float around (better option) or... More

This is one of the best parts of the TradeWinds Resort for the kids because the waves are not very big this allow kids to have fun all day long in a safe place.
