Awesome park! Great wooden ramps take you thru the wilderness and almost always guaranteed to see a gator or ten from the safety of above. Educational museum on site. One of the best free things to do in St. Pete.

We visit this place often and see something new every time! Good shade, water views, fauna/flora, boardwalks, a tower (viewing Sawgrass Lake) and trails. Small "self serve" education center. Visitors will help you locate the gators. Plenty around, but they move with the water (the...More

I was disappointed that I couldn’t bring my dog on the boardwalk trail, as this was probably the quietest part of the park. The rest of the park backs up to 275 and it’s not as relaxing as it could be :(

Taking a slow walk to see all the wildlife can take around 1 hour. It is a path that can be cut short if one is out of time. How much you see depends on day...animals and birds do not keep a schedule.
