Lots of tropical and exotic plants and trees. Some could have been better labeled. The variety was fascinating. Trails were nice to walk on. Yoga classes available 2 times a week.

The gardens are lovely. There are some small signs with the names of select species of plants, but I would agree that there's not much info if you wanted to learn about each plant. I was OK with it though. The layout is great and invites you to meander around and get lost in the gardens. Big tall palm trees,... More

Lots of tropical plants. Hardly any posts with names to learn. It isn't spectacular at all....especially at TEN dollars for entry. Luckily we only paid half price discount even at $5 a person I was very disappointed.

I saw the "family annual pass" Groupon and was excited to check it out before I brought my teens. I have lived in St Pete for 3 years and have always wondered about this place. Let's just say I am happy I paid the Groupon price and not $10 for each of us. I definitely don't think it is worth... More

This is a unique little biological gem in the middle of a busy city. If you're a plant aficionado, it may not be the best garden you ever visited, but some of these specimens are more than 100 years old and are awesome to behold. You really don't need more than a couple of hours to see everything and meander... More

Historic gardens in an old sinkhole. Don't miss the turtle in the lowest pond. Could have more plant info in the gardens

Off the parking lot of a large restaurant chain is a hidden gem. Sunken Gardens offers a beautiful escape - nice landscaping, plenty to see and quiet

Went there last weekend for the first time this year...I love the different pathways that can be taken into different parts of the gardens. Everything is tropical, mature plant life. Exotic birds, flamingos, turtles and fish. Good family outing, excellent to take in during Spring and Fall seasons.
