The only good thing to say about this stadium is is air conditioned. Period. The location is horrid and there is nothing around the stadium yet one lousy sports bar.

What a cool and fun place to go see a ballgame! I am a Yankees fan but the ingenuity involved with this place is remarkable. Can't imagine watching a baseball game outdoors when it is over 100 degrees in the dog days of summer.

Sitting in the dome watching a ball game at an even 70 degrees while it's 95 and thunder storming outside. Who could ask for more? Comfortable seating and lots of beer and junk food. Lots of easy parking too.

When we go out of town we try to catch a Baseball game. We were in St. Petersburg staying on Treasure Island and we got to catch our favorite all time team the N.Y. Yankees playing the Tampa Rays. The Yankees won this game that we attended and that was a good thing. The ballpark is O.K. but the Rays... More

Tropicana field is a great stadium and has a wonderful atmosphere. I've been to several games here over the years including when they were still called the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. The stadium is comfortable and has plenty of options for food and drinks. Of course, the prices are high.

I love the Trop! It's easy to navigate, there's not really a bad seat in the house. Good selection of beer and food, although the prices have gotten to be pretty outrageous! Nice cool place to watch baseball, even if the Ray's do suck.

I have to say from the start that I grew up going to Orioles games in Baltimore's Camden Yards. Half the fun of those games was the ambience of the stadium and the great hometown family feel you get. So when I visited Tropicana Field I have to say I wasn't surprised that there were hardly any home team fans.... More

Tropicana field might be an enclosed facility, but it is always comfortable with no rain and no bugs. There is a nice variety of food selections, beer, and mixed drinks. There is a cigar bar as well as a large pub-style downstairs bar, both of which serve past the 7th inning. Occasional aftergame concerts are played there in the outfield... More

The lighting is terrible and gloomy. Concessions were mislabeled (can't get nachos at the nacho cantina for example).
