I was on Vacation with my Friends. All the kids i seen looked like they was having a blast. If i was young enough or had children; I would have loved it. A must place to go

I have been to The Blast with my children hundreds of time since it opened and have never had a bad experience. What sticks out to me the most is no matter how busy they are, someone is always picking up, cleaning and wiping down machines. I can't name many arcades that I have been to that have cleanliness at this level and all machines operational. Great job guys!! Keep up the great work. We love to Blast!

There was another arcade that my brother and I were previously visiting but came across this arcade while walking on the other side of the lake. This arcade is updated, fun, clean, and in a good location on the resort. It is located in Baytowne Village and Wharf and around a bunch of other eateries and shops.

My kids were so excited to go in and play games! (Ages 14 and 11) $50 and 15 minutes later, they were disappointed as were we.

We had a great time walking around and enjoying the activities available. Rock climbing, Zipline, Mini Golf, shooting gallery, arcade we had a blast. I enjoyed the trampolines and the restaurants the most, mostly I enjoyed the fun and relaxation.

The kids enjoyed having an arcade walking distance from the hotel. They played every night then redeemed their points at the end of the week.

There are plenty of other arcades in town such as Fat Daddy's that I would recommend; however, I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. It was incredibly overcrowded but in July that is something that you deal with. The staff, particularly and older woman working the counter, were quite possibly the worst we have ever encountered anywhere. That is saying a lot considering the extensive of amount of travelling that we do. The arcade works on a card system like most of them do now. You scan your card play a game and the tickets are added to your card. The only problem is, most of our tickets didn't get added to the card. After asking the lady at the front desk about it, she called us liars and sent us on our way. Literally she did nothing to look into it and made it clear we were not bother her or ask her anything else about it. The place was like a mad house and we did not bother contacting a manager at the time but they will hear from us.

We do pride ourselves on having the cleanest arcade, the friendliest staff and the most advanced system available on the market. Clearly we did not provide that in your case. Don't be misled by the name of this place. The laser maze is just one room with laser beams shining across it. There are a few different games you can play in the laser maze- avoid the beams, break as many beams as possible, or a team game where you each have to avoid the beams to get across the room to touch sensors on the walls.
That being said, the arcade itself was great! It is pretty small, but there are lots of games. We splurged at the beginning of our trip and paid $120 for a game card. This was enough to allow each of my two kids (sharing the card) to play on 3 separate nights. I felt like the games were reasonably priced and the money lasted a lot longer than it might have at other arcades. They won enough tickets to get 3 stuffed animals and a few small pieces of candy. Staff was very attentive and always available to help out if we had any problems. The games were well-maintained and nothing was out of order or broken. It was a great way to spend time in the chilly October evenings or on rainy days.
My only complaint about the arcade is that there is no place for non-participating adults to sit down. I couldn't find even one chair or bench inside the arcade other than stools that were meant for sitting while playing some of the games. They had one table with 4 chairs out in front of the arcade, so I went out there and sat for a while. It is nice that there is only one entrance and exit from the arcade, so I didn't have to worry about the kids leaving without me seeing them. It was pretty loud in the arcade, so it was nice to find some respite outside!

Thanks for the kind review. We are delighted that your family was able to enjoy Blast during your stay at Sandestin. We do have a whole room for people to sit in while they are not playing games in the arcade. It's right to the left as you enter the front door. It has 24 seats with tables and 5 TV's for your comfort. It's glassed in so you can see out to the arcade while blocking a lot of the noise. Our sister company Thrills Laser Tag and Arcade does have a 2 story Laser Tag like the name says. You are right Blast Arcade and Laser Maze only does have a Laser Maze.

Grandpa and Grandson were getting restless from the hotel, pool and beach, so we needed a new venue. They played for about 1 1/2 hours on $36 and seemed to have fun. There is a assortment of different arcade games with an average of 4 points each to play. Nice air conditioning. Junky prizes but aren’t they all?
