The lighthouse is visible form many places in Sanibel. A wonderful walk on the beach and beautiful park area.

Had visited Sanibel before and had no idea that the lighthouse and pier existed....what a delightful little find! You just pay a $4 per hour parking fee and then meander beach, lighthouse and pier area. Probably would be a lot less crowded however on weekends, as I visited on a Saturday afternoon and there were people everywhere.

Nice historical marker with good signage to read about the history of the lighthouse. It's a small setting and you will be there for a short time and then back on the beach

The lighthouse is small but nice and has a sign with write up about the history. The beach right there is a fantastic place to find seashells!

Easy parking with short walk to the water. $4/hour parking isn't cheap, but the bathrooms are clean and the beach is only a short walk away.

The park is nice, and the beach is very popular. Pay parking. You can not climb the light house, but you can get pretty close.

Not your typical lighthouse. Usually you see the giant white lighthouses you can climb. Nope this is more of an iron tower however its history was very intriguing. The area beach and park surrounding it is stunningly beautiful and worth seeing. The water is rougher on this side of the island but extremely picturesque.

Loved the story of the lighthouse and glad we got to see it but having seen many lighthouses in Maine, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts/Cape this was not what I was expecting...it is lovely though
