Nice parking - less crowded and good facilities... always a pleasant time. Easy to come and go from if you use the back way in on Middle Gulf Drive.

Most of the Sanibel beaches have limited parking, but this beach is easy to get to and always seemed to have parking spots available. Shelling was good.

One of the best beaches plus a fishing pier. Avoid all the traffic and park here on the east end where there is also a fishing pier used by many to catch dinner. Best location on Sanibel. the Doctor hit me with a helpful vote!

We got the last spot in the small (30 car?) parking lot which is across the intersection and down about 50 feet from the beach access. Parking is $4/hour and you can pay in 1/2 hour increments. There was a cop directing traffic at the...More

We enjoyed walking on this beach looking for sea shells. The beach is accessible for people who use wheel chairs with a nice boardwalk that goes all the way to the beach ending with a concrete slab that runs perpendicular to the beach. Parking is...More

One of the largest, though less traveled, public beaches on beautiful Sanibel Island, this beach should spark the love of shell-hunting for both the beginner and professional. This park beach is located on the south side of the island, and thus, the tide brings in...More

Overcast day due to the smoke, but it was still a wonderful beach walk and we found a few shells even though we arrived after going to Ding Darling and then lunch. Moderately crowded beach with many people enjoying walking since the sun was fleeting.

We went to this beach on 3 separate days and enjoyed the uncrowded beauty of the place. Car parking is $4/hour, but if you rent bikes, it is a great alternative to get to this beach. There are nice restrooms which not all of the...More

I love to swim in an around ocean surf/beach. Are all the beaches as conducive to this or are some less visited and more attractive to swimmers?
