Stopped here as it's the only shop between the causeway junction & the lighthouse & also needed an ice cream from the shop next door. Not the cheapest but what does one expect on Sanibel, crammed with sea themed gifts at various prices. Bought a few items women behind the counter pleasent & helpful.

My child was nicely looking at one of his children's books that he had displayed and was yelled at to put it down. What person yells at a child for looking at a children's book that was displayed at their eye level right by the front door? Here's an idea if you don't like children don't sell children toys and... Picked up a shell net and back pack to use for the beach. The shopkeeper was friendly and helpful. There was a LARGE variety of souvenir type items for purchase. Prices were a little high but selection made up for it.

We are a friendly, well behaved family. We've been to Sanibel (and this shop) before. However, my son was looking at an item (not expensive, just $15) and the proprietor came out from behind the counter, grabbed the item and said, "Put them back!". Heck, I intended to buy the item. In fact, my family of 5 rarely gets out... More

We also had a very bad experience. Mr. Tuttle sits behind a counter and yells at children. He yelled at our 4 year old granddaughter when she tried to show her mother something to buy and he did the same thing with my nine year old. It is a very crowded store and he seems to think the children are... More

I love seahorse so of course I had to stop at this cute little shop. It was one of those ships where you know you're going to find at least one thing you have to have-I found a couple. They sell beautiful handcrafted jewelry with abalone shells and Australian opal. Wide variety of seahorses, mermaids, fish, crab, and abundant other... More

I've shopped this store for several years. Always found the owner to be interesting and informative. Big problem this year. Nobody seemed to want to open the shop. Went several times in three weeks to shop and the store was never open. No posted hours. A couple of business owners said he opened when he felt like it. Probably won't... More

Do not miss out on this relic from Sanibel's past! It is the true quintessential gift shop. Treasures abound among its hallowed walls!!! Mr. Tuttle will tell you stories of Sanibel's past and before you leave you will have a friend for life!!! A stop not to be missed!!!

Calendars, clothes, picture frames, shoes, hummingbird feeders, YES! If you need to be reminded of your trip to Sanibel, you need to stop in and pick up something. everything is reasonably priced. Eclectic island retail at its best.
