We spent one night here in May & definitely could've stayed longer. Unfortunately, the drought has affected this park as it has the rest of Florida. Most of the river is too low for paddling, so we never even put the kayak in. The canopy...More

This is a great place to see al sizes & shapes of alligators, lots of birds too. The big airboat ride is interesting & very informative. A viewing walkway was built that gives an different view of the water & surrounding area. Don't miss it!!!

Four of us met at the park at 8:30am to walk the nature trail to the canopy observation bridge/tower. Nice sand trail to the tower and then we climbed the steps and walked the bridge looking down on the trees and forest floor. At the...More

We visited in March on a chilly, windy day so many of the alligators were hiding. We really enjoyed the airboat tour and the tour guide was brilliant. He taught us all about the alligators habits and managed to point out lots of wildlife to...More

We saw a lot of alligators and deer. The trails are well groomed and marked. We have been there a few times. We also did the lake tour.

Took both the Boat Tour and the Tram Tour and enjoyed both. It will depend on the time of year how many alligators you see but any time of year you won't be dissapointed.

For the past 25-30 years We had always driven by but never stopped. We took the airboat tour and the tram tour and loved it. We are not campers, but lots of camp areas.

Beautiful experience of this part of Florida! Lots to see and explore. Lots of hikes, tram tours, and water play if that's your thing!

Can I bring my own personal golf cart so I can get around without walking are pedaling a bike

We saw a scooter for a handicapped person, but my sense is that a golf cart would not work. You would have to be mobile to enter the boat tour and the walk. Suggest you check with park services for handicap access.
