After the visit to mote, don’t forget the seabirds. This rescue runs a great small exhibit with a myriad of exotic and indigenous birds.
This is on the Mote property but NOT part of the Mote - confusing. You get a discount with Mote tickets though. Lovely little tour.
This place is a fun little side trip. It doesn't take very long and every visit helps to support the birds. The folks here really work very hard to care for these birds; to rehab and release or to let them live out their lives...More

This is a great little facility helping to save injured birds. Some cannot be released, but will live out their lives in lovely aviaries with the best care. It was great to have a list of the birds they have on permanent display and to...More
Such a unique opportunity to view Florida's birds up close! Visiting a place for injured animals could be a sad experience, but the care and dedication for the birds at this rescue is so evident that it's uplifting. This should be a must-see for families...More
