This is one of my favorite spots in the county, and yet somehow people still don't know about it. My neighbor has lived in the area for years and didn't even know it was there. Great place to walk, observe nature, see snakes and gators. Usually a very quiet park and not highly trafficked, unlike most of the other parks... More

This is a great walking park with its views of the water, and beautiful greenery. There are great pavilions for picnics but the restrooms are only open on the weekends, although you do have access to running water next to most pavilions. There is a dog park for the four legged visitors. And if you are lucky, you may even... More

This little park is lovely. Well kept and maintained, it offers a release from the busy streets and noise. Wonderful place to explore and enjoy. Perfect for bike riding whether alone or with family.

This park doesn't draw the crowds that other county parks do, but that just makes it even better. It is one of the most peaceful places in the area, perfect for a quiet stroll. If you are more adventurous, a canoe/kayak launch offers access to the Intracoastal through a 1/10 mile mangrove tunnel. Be sure to launch at high tide... More

Nice county park with boardwalk along bay. Many picnic shelters available for use it appears. Recreational trail part is nothing exciting.

Shade can be very important so we were pleased to find much of the boardwalks in shade. Around the tower it is more exposed, but you can find shade within the tower itself. I'll let my photos do most of the talking.....
