Turtle Beach visit was great!

This is a great beach to visit. The sand is very different than other beaches but very nice! Less crowded too, so it was nice to have some privacy as a family!

Our favourite beach on the Key. Fantastic sunsets and easy to find parking. A short walk to three great restaurants - Turtles, Turtle Beach Pub, and Ophelia's

We were able to get a parking spot in the adjacent lot and then headed to the beach for our front row set. Turtle beach is a fantastic place to see the sun set. Would have been nice to have a blanket or chairs but the sand is such that it wasn't necessary.

Walked along this beach. There is a steep drop off near the shore and there are no lifeguards at this beach. A good beach to take kids will supervision for shells but not for swimming.

We went to Turtle Beach to pick up shells, and we were not disappointed. This location offers a variety of shells. We saw sea turtle nests, but sadly no sea turtles.

Let's face it: on the Holiday weekends (July 4, Memorial Day, Labor Day, etc) the major beaches are CROWDED. Do you also really want to park your car (and probably pay for parking offsite) and carry everything through that seemingly endless sugar sand on Siesta? If the answer is NO, then come to Turtle Beach. Park less than a stone... More

Not nearly as nice as main beach but good for families staying near there. Camping area across the highway and looked like parking lot was being expanded.

We didn't hang out here but stopped to get sand. There was only like maybe 15 ppl there, sand not as soft and pretty as siesta but looks like a good place to go for some quiet lounging time.

Once again, how can you go wrong with a day at the beach? there are not waves, so if you are searching for some surf, this is not the place to visit.

One of my favorite beaches on Siesta Key. I like this beach because it isn't as crowed as some of the other gulf beaches. Unfortunately, there aren't as many shells as there used to be, but if you are patient you may find some nice ones.
