This place is a treasure! We were surprised at how much we enjoyed this visit. The glass bottom boat was a price performer and a fascinating view into several of the fresh water springs feeding the crystal clear waters of the Silver river. We were surprised to learn about all the movies and TV shows filmed here and delighted to... More

To experience Florida like a native, you can stay in the park in an all equipped cabin, complete with gas fireplace and central heat and air. There are hiking trails and biking trails which lead down to one of the most gorgeous spring fed rivers in the world. You can visit the park and take a glass bottom boat ride... More

Visited in Nov 2016 after a 40 yr absence. We had fond memories of that first visit and were anxious to relive some of them. Nice dining room, authentic food, extensive menu, delicious food, good service, good location. Great breads. Nice bar even though we did not drink. They care and it shows.

Twenty years ago my daughter was on my shoulders when the giraffe at Silver Springs used his tongue to try and pick up my three year old by her pony tail. I held her legs tightly and he let go...and we have laughed for years at the non event. On 11/16/2016 I took my 23 year old daughter and my... More

I only stayed one night and it was not enough. This was part of a state park tour I was doing to get an idea of what the state of Florida has to offer. There are some great trails for short hikes. If your looking for a more moderate hike it's easy to combine a few trails. I stayed in... More

I am a Florida Native and I have been to Silver Springs State Park Three times in my lifetime. My first trip I was about 10 or 11, I can barely remember it. Most recently twice now this year, once on a holiday weekend (fourth of July) and once in the middle of October. Both times we enjoyed ourselves taking... More

We took the boat ride. I was nice. Not crowed. Water flows seem off from my youth. Still worth seeing. Worth bringing your family to, befor it is gone for ever...like snow at the north pole. .

Did the glass bottom boat and it was amazing. This place is so charming, I will be coming back to stay at a cabin sometime.
