We visited this Beach Park on what was a very chilly and windy morning. We are native Floridian's so our blood is rather thin and we were surprised to see a few snowbirds with bathing suits on getting suntans! It was about 60° & windy but very sunny. We took a stroll and my husband tried his luck at the... More

We've been there a few times to watch the sunset. We bring a picnic basket along with sandwiches & beverages to watch the sunset. There are picnic tables available, or you can purchase food at the little restaurant.

Nice clean beach with playground for kids, picnic area. There is a small parking lot, with a cost of three dollars for five hours. Has a concession area.

My husband and I have been here quite a few times. We bring our visitors here to sit on the beach or watch the sun set. You have to pay to park, but it's not much and it's worth the cost. There is a small café there, so you won't get hungry.

Nice little beach. We saw 2 dolphins the first time we were there. Looks like a man made beach. It's a beach. Very busy on the weekends so we were there during the week.

Great place to be close to the Beach. Willy's concession stand offers light fare and soda type drinks. Sunday afternoon, once a month, I think, a band of people show up to play! Nice entertainment! There is a fee to park and on Awesome days they fill up quickly, don't give the attendant a hard time!

Nice place to walk along the beach. Not our favorite for swimming. Clean well kept park and beach. They offer a concession stand.

Took the grandkids the first time and they loved playing in the sand. Wife and I went back again 2 days later. It was fun watching the seagulls try to fly because it was real windy. It was a little cool so the locals were all bundled up but there were some snowbird college girls wearing their bikinis. It was... More

This park may be your best way to get close to the Gulf in Hernando County. It's right there. Generally quiet, peaceful, beautiful. About 12 minutes (7.5 miles) off the beaten path of highway 19 (Commercial Way).

I do like this beach, it is well maintained, it has clean baths, a burger place. Nice ride to get there! Best during the summer!
