The mirrored walls of the Tallahassee Automobile Museum enclose more than just automobiles! This 100,000 sf. facility houses cars, trucks and memorabilia of all kinds. In addition to the antique cars, muscle cars, concept cars, and trucks -- check out the eclectic collection of Steinway pianos, Remington sculptures, Case knives, Barbie dolls, boats, boat motors, children's pedal cars, and die-cast toys. Journey through history with Native American artifacts, firearms, antique cash registers, pocket watches, salt-cellars, baby bottles, silver spoons, baseball cards, antique golf balls and clubs, 100-year-old brass-bladed fans, art objects from Thailand, neon signs, stained glass, a horse from a carousel, a children's barber chair shaped like an airplane and much, much more. Part shrine, part history lesson, part pack-rat's paradise, part garage and part art gallery -- except, in this case, the art has four spotless wheels and can go from 0 to 60 faster than a Cezanne can. It's truly an amazing museum of American history.

So interesting even if you are not a fan of cars. Many items that have nothing to do with cars. This is a place you can spend hours wandering around. Great place for a family to spend an afternoon.

This is great collection of vehicles and motorcycles from old to new. I have visited many automobile museums and never seen some of these vehicles. There is also many knifes (mostly Case as their a dealer), some wonderful piano's, outboard motors and many guns. The only negative is the collection has outgrown the space so it is tough to view... Extremely well-preserved/restored American auto ... even a King "Midget". Ford GT, a HUGE Duesenberg, lots of "32s", "Back To The Future", golf clubs (millions), desk fans, V8-60 dirt tracker, muscle cars, signed baseballs, "Batman", outboard motors, "Folsom Point"", old pedal cars, rifles, "Case" knives, Donald Trump (!) ... a very swanky Cord ... the list can go on.

We were in the area, and saw this advertised. It is just off I-10 at junction 209A and easy to find. First impressions are not good - some dusty artefacts and an empty pond in a deserted car park! We persisted (as must you :-)) and paid our $15... This is Mr DeVoe Moore's private collection of cars and other... More

Holy smokes! What a lot of stuff! I thought it was just going to be cars and a few other things, I was wrong! There is everything in there from cars, to fans, to pianos, to golf clubs, to boat motors ... I could go on and on. They do have chairs scattered around so you can sit for a... More

This was my second visit to this museum, which has changed significantly since 2005. Great exhbibits of classic cars, Batmobiles and anything else that is collectible. Knives, guns, toys, baseball artefacts, golf clubs, posters, pianos, model ships and an Uncle Sam amongst other stuff. Just an amazing museum that must be on your itinerary if you visitr Tallahassee.

There were numerous vendors and the museum was open for browsing as well. The rooms are very spacious and the bars were in several different areas on the property. The cars were antique and vintage cars. Cars used in movies and by famous actors and the overall atmosphere was refreshing and young boys dream place to get lost in looking... More
