CLC does a bang up job of putting you in the mindset of Mission Control and NASA. The training exercise was very well done and the sets were very well done. Great job by the staff!

The Challenger Learning Center and its connected IMAX theater provide great educational and hands-on experiences for K! thru K12, As a chaperone for my grandchildren's classrooms, I also enjoyed the experience. Parking is reasonable if you can't ride the school bus. Also I am told that there is a great place to have lunch and wind down drink after you... More

Great place to learn about NASA's Challenger learning centers, experience planetarium shows for children and adults, and see great IMAX movies including first run features.

The best parts about the Challenger Center are the planned group activities. Summer camps are wonderful, and field trips are really fun as the class is split between mission control and astronauts with tasks to complete. For individuals, though, the planetarium is the most interesting part.

Every time we visit the IMAX it's worse. Filthy carpet in the concessions area, you enter the theater by checking out the brooms & trash cans. Seats are worn out & uncomfortable to sit in. A cleaning cleaning & refurbishing would go a long way. Doesn't help that the ticket taker kept goofing up and it took 10 minutes in... More

The Challenger Learning Center is a great way to spend a Saturday with children who need simple and affordable entertainment. The Planetarium is educational and captivating. They offer free events for children each month which is a great Community benefit. I have gone to see the Aurora Light show and it was awesome and as close to the real experience... More

This was the first time in a long time that I have been to a planetarium. It was ok for the price and a nice place to catch a break from the heat outside. Other than the show in the dome, nothing special, but younger kids would probably like it.

Looking at the website, it looked like it was an interactive center. It was apparently only for field trips. Ao, we were from 6 hours away and after doing the capital tours, wanted a fun place for the kids to play and learn, this wasn't it.

Did not experience the other things to do here because of our time constraints but enjoyed the new "Looking for Dory" 3D movie in the Imax theater. Went on the week-end for the 5:15 show. Plenty of seats, good price, reasonabled priced snacks & $1 parking in the nearby lot. Best time to go is the week-end when the state... More
