Big disappointment. We drove around for 45 minutes trying to find parking. All visitor parking suggested on website was full. We even pulled into monitored lot and asked parking sec urity f or help. Parking he suggested was also full. My husband is unable to walk long distances and the metered street parking available was too far for him to... More

This was very interesting because it is so different. We are visiting all the Capitols so were glad to see and hear its origin. The view from the top is the best in the city.

Pretty cool to see the "new" capitol building (brutalist style from the 70's) sitting next to the original buildings from years ago. Go to the top and get great views of the city; you can also see a little bit of state government goings-on. A really nice free diversion.

There is some really neat information in the Capitol. We really enjoyed walking around and seeing the buzzing about of the lobbyist. We also went to the 22nd floor and took a panoramic view of the city.

We did this visit in conjunction with a visit to the old Capitol. The most fun here was the view from the top floor. You can walk all around and get a 360 degree view of Tallahasse, Leon County and all the way to the coast. It is interesting to go into the House and Senate Chambers and to see... More

Recommend as a next stop after visiting the Florida Historic Capital Museum. The 22nd floor has a nice 360degree view of Tallahassee. The 5th floor gives you access to the Senate & House of Representative Chambers. Otherwise the building is just another office block.

For the state capitol, you'd expect a nice building, not here apparently, it's mainly offices and you have to take about three separate elevators to the observation room, it's an ok view if all you wanna see is trees.

A free museum which is informative on Florida government & its history, Grand building which has been restored. Going to the current capital building behind the museum allows a trip up too the 22nd floor for views of the city

We did not go through much of the new capitol building, but on the advice of the lady at the historic capitol we went to the top floor. Great views of the city and information n some of the things you are seeing. Kids really enjoyed it.
