Visited the Jazz House on January 20th and had a FABULOUS time!! The club has multiple levels and plays different music on each level. Good drinks and a mix crowd. Good times!

Just got back from Tampa. While we where there we checked out Ybor. It's full of pubs and bars and junky stores. I like cigars so that was cool, but the food was bar food. So if you like run down bars and bikers, along with a few cigar smokers, mixed in with some homeless folks....this is your place. Just... More

I have not been to Cuba, or to Europe, but, from pictures I've seen of those sites, this reminded me of that. Narrow cobble stone streets, music eating through the air, and food and beverages offered from every doorway. We are in the senior category, and enjoyed this location in a Sunday afternoon. Our timing was impeccable. We arrived about... More

Around Christmas time, my boyfriend and I took our first trip to Tampa. I kept hearing everyone talk about Ybor City and I really wanted to go. The closer we got the worse the area looked - lots of vagrants. He decided that we should pass it up on that trip. This past week I was able to go back... More

I had the opportunity, along with my cousin, to take the Ybor City Food and History Tour. We had a very nice tour guide named Raymond. He was very knowledgeable about the history of Ybor City, which is part of Tampa, and enjoyed talking about all the wonderful places to eat in the city. The traditional Cuban sandwich was so... Ybor is ok. Plenty of local eateries and music places. It caters to a pretty diverse crowd unlike most of Tampa. All in all it's is a a good place for visitors to check the history of the area.

Went to The Acropolis for happy hour and a late lunch. Good food, ate outside as the weather was awesome and there was a festival going on with lots of people watching. Great afternoon.

Ybor City is alive. The Main Street 7th ave offers tradition with the Colombian Restaurant to local boutiques, cigar bars, restaurants, cruise of local flavor, unique shops, etc.. Night life is off the chain with various bars that offer live entertainment. The comedy club is nearby along with museums, galleries and a College. Check out the new Ybor City, it is... More
