During a Royal Caribbean Cruise to Havana many cruisers recommended Ybor City. We ride Trolley from the Riverwalk area which is free on Saturday. Ybor City has numerous restaurants, bars, cigar shops and a couple of thrift stores. A variety of music can be enjoyed...More

Tattoos. Cigars. Bars. Restaurants. Tourists. Cruisers. Locals. You name it, you'll find it here! Grab a drink and just people watch is a great way to spend time on a Sunday afternoon. Always a favorite place to hang out when in Tampa!

Great area to walk through. Very quaint bars, restaurants and coffee shops. Definitely allow a couple of hours on any trip to Tampa.

This part of town is very interesting! A lot of old buildings reopened into swanky joints and stores. Artsy, wild, off the grid, a crazy good time ready to held at any given moment!

We spent our day walking around Ybor city, sampling wonderful Cuban sandwiches, coffee, poking into various local shops & museums, and of course... afternoon cocktails. Fun way to spend the day waiting for our late night flight home.

Either way you come, this is a fun stroll into history. I rode here easily on bike-share from downtown Tampa (convention center) and returned later with friends on the streetcar ($5 round trip) for pizza and dessert.

You know what you are getting when you go here. Dirty places, average food and drunk people. I am not a fan of Ybor!! For a night of drinking it is fun.
