The TMA is a fun and interesting place to go. My wife and I did enjoy the exhibit of art from local artists. We also enjoyed the small permanent collection of ancient artifacts from Greece, Rome, Egypt etc. The collection is a small but good...More

There's something outstanding about the TMA: its design. For architecture aficionados, it's borderline pornographic, and it transcends its own purpose as an structure to become a work of art in itself. Which is admittedly quite cool for little Tampa. At night, it seems to float...More

I called the front desk and the staff member did not understand my request. Instead of being patient and backtracking she was pretty rude and said " I don't know what you're talking about!" It was quite disappointing and uninviting.

Ancient Greco-Roman (Etruscan actually) art to extremely modern exhibits make this a small but diverse museum that is easily digestible in an hour or two. The family membership package with discounts or reciprocal agreements with area museums make this museum very attractive. We look forward...More

You don't have to walk inside the Tampa Museum of Art to see an exhibition of modern or contemporary art. The building itself, constructed in 2010, is an architectural masterpiece. Located at 6600 North Ashley Drive, along Tampa's Riverwalk on the banks of the Hillsborough...More

We tried this museum after The Art of the Bricks was too crowded. We received free military family admission. I think if we hadn't, I would have been annoyed. The museum is so small that it only took us about 30 minutes to see everything....More

After walking from the Henry Plant Museum (fantastic) in the heat, I was so disappointed in the paltry exhibits. There is supposed to be a new exhibit soon. The best part was the cafe. Delicious food with a gelato "bar."

I attended a wedding and it was truly spectacular. The views from the Terrace of the University of Tampa as well as the Riverwalk were beautiful. The food and service were first class without being so over the top formal.

For the price of admission, there was very little to see. One of the wings was in-between shows so there was nothing to see. There was a small photography exhibit as well as some ancient ceramics. While those were interesting shows, they were quite small....More

There is a rotating exhibit space plus a space with scupltures and antiquities. The balcony has a modern art sculpture in bronze on it. The first floor is floor-to-ceiling windows which let in a lot of light into the main... More
