I love the view when going from the Tampa Airport south to Bradenton. It is always a beautiful view. Getting of the plane and then driving over the bridge, you know it is going to be a good time and great weather. Love it when...More

Passing through here is an amazing experience looking at the calm sea and beautiful houses by the bay. It’s simply relaxing and most amazing is the fact that joggers and pedestrians have not been forgotten to use this perfect bridge. This makes it a tourist...More

I’ve been living here over 20yrs+. The Skyway bridge are one of “Tampa/FL icon” and my favorite places. Beside the breathtaking view...the fishing piers is a MUST stopping point, especially if you like fishing. I catches fresh shrimps and crabs with my family here! Had...More

It is so beautiful that you may stop breading... A little exaggerated, but it is really a spectacular bridge, everytime I go to St. Petersburg I return to Tampa crossing it, to admire its amazing architecture and elegance.

The bridge is just beautiful! As you’re approaching it, it seems extremely steep, but when you’re actually on it, it really is only s steep grade. I’ve watched many fishing shows with anglers pulling in absolutely HUGE tarpon with the bridge only a few hundred...More

It`s exciting to drive over this bridge. the structure is amazing. they have taken part of the old bridge that was damaged years ago by a barge striking it and have made a nice fishing pier out of it. It`s a great spot for grouper!

This bridge is a death trap. Florida is hot. My vertigo definitely flared up. Not as bad as the roller coaster. Also, despite reviews online, there is no picnic area.

Not sure why anyone would review a bridge...but a nice road and beautiful view. Best way to go from Brandon to St Pete Beach in my opinion.

Found this fascinating that people have reviewed a bridge however, it is special. Amazing span with the two middle towers supporting the main expansion.....Road was empty of traffic so went across slowly and enjoyed the views..

In order to get to St. Pete from Manatee County without going over the Skyway you will have to take I-75 or US 441 north around Tampa Bay them pick Highway 60 westbound. It's at least a 1 1/2 hour trip vs about 45 minutes... More

A lot more than you can carry. Not sure the exact limit but a lot of very big trucks roll over that bridge.

I was able to use an out of state USCellular line with no issues. You might be ok if a service call comes in unless your reeling in a Big One.
