The Straz Center began as a dream by visionary citizens of Tampa who persevered to bring to reality one of the finest performing arts centers in the nation. It is many things to many people and it’s more than just a building, more than just a performing arts center. It is a presenter, a producer, an educator, a community partner and an economic engine for the Tampa Bay area. It is a cornerstone of the Tampa Bay community. The Straz Center creates a regional economic impact of more than $100 million each year. To our local economy it can mean more tourists staying in hotels, eating in restaurants, shopping in stores and visiting other venues when they are here. At both the local and national level, it provides access to more than 700,000 people of all ages, abilities and cultures each year. It also provides jobs for artists and other professionals who have a passion for the arts and for our mission.

I very much enjoyed the show from Balcony Level 2. However, the amplified sound from the performers on stage was slightly distorted and I couldn't understand some of the obviously funny laugh lines. Our seats were fine and had good sightlines even though we were...More

If you have one smidgen of religion do not go see this show. I knew from the beginning that it contained explicit language, but had no clue as to how bad and offensive it would be. I probably would have walked out except it was...More

Guitar Pull country show. Parking was easy and accessible. Morsani Hall was beautiful and very nice. Drinks at the patio bar before were nice. A different set up for a country concert, but enjoyed the evening.

Love the Straz. So many things to see and do. There are matinees if you would like to go during the day. Take a walk along the riverfront and see the art and musical instruments. Parking is always challenging. Taking the downtowner is a great...More

We usually recommend 90 minutes before the show for valet when there are multiple shows happening on the same night, especially if touring Broadway is in one of the houses. For March 30, 60 minutes should be sufficient, but... More
