Wow what a great place this was. Lots of animals and lots of hands on with the animals which was great. Definitely not a zoo in terms of exotic animals but a good variety and animals seem very well cared for. It's run by volunteers who are very friendly and helpful. All in all a great place to escape for... More

We visited this morninging and we very surprised at what they had to offer. Every kind of animal from an albino racoon to an advark. Pet all kinds of exotic animals, played in the maze, fed the black swans, train ride, pony ride, tire swing, playground, beautiful horses and saw the bald eagle on the tree where its nest is... This recreational area that doubles with an animal sanctuary is good for families that want to spend time with their children and grandchildren. The park has concession and bathroom facilities. They have playground for children. They have animals to view and take pictures. The staff does a good job.

Lots of cute animals to see and some opportunity to feed them and pet them. Great for small kids. Looks like recently they set up lots and lots of little covered "rest stops" where you can sit down and have a snack.

HorsePower for Kids is one of our absolute favorite places to spend an afternoon with the kids. There is no other place with such a variety of animals that kids can interact with - from holding a baby lemur to catching chickens to riding ponies to walking goats on a leash to feeding about a dozen different animals. Other than... More

I went to Horse Power and it was a wonderful experience. The owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. There are many beautiful exotic animals that you have the opportunity to get up close with and you have free roam of the place. There are animals you can go in and pet as well as see right next to... We were looking for something to do outdoors in Tampa with our children ages 6 and 9. We found Horse Power for Kids. This place was fantastic! We spent about 3.5 hours here. They had so many animals, many of which the kids (and adults) enjoyed petting. There was a maze which the kids enjoyed going through several times. There... More
