We have been a couple of times and really enjoy it. Very well planned and maintained. It is only open certain times of year, so make sure to check their schedule. Both times were busy, but everyone still was able to view the manatees. Would...More

It's amazing to see these beautiful mammals in their natural habitat. They are so gentle and graceful that you will stare at them from the pier mesmerized. The best time to go is in the winter because there is a power plant nearby that heats...More

Didn't know that they didn't let the manatees out until the first of November. This place is easy to find but closed the day we arrived. I guess the manatees show up from November 1st through April - it's a winter activity when the manatees,...More

You may think you're coming for manatees, but all you'll see is the glaring and obnoxious Tampa Electric. It's industrial. Sure, I saw manatees-- but hardly, I could only see a black dot poking up above the waterline from about 100 feet away. The manatees...More

I don't think they have wheel chairs but I do know they have wheel chair ramps. Very accessible for everyone.

They are typically there in the cooler weather trying to stay in the warmer water. I believe the sight is open all year.
