shortened tour

What was advertised to be a 2 hr tour took 1&1/2 du to their schedule being messed up due to boat problems? No attempt to see dolphins. Very little narrative.

Well worth the time for a relaxing tour on the Anclote River and Gulf of Mexico. We saw dolphins, osprey, bald eagles and various other sea birds. The stop on the island for shelling was wonderful! Traveling with an electric wheelchair and they couldn't have been more accommodating!

My wife and I turned up at their kiosk and asked when we could book the next trip. We were told 1:30pm. So we booked for 1:30 and then we were redirected to the shop where you have to pay (begs the question why can't you pay at the kiosk???). So we go into the store where we pay our... More

We were disappointed because 1) the trip was delayed for 20 mins with no explanation or apology 2) the ride did not include any substantial narrative about the history of the town or wild life we encountered and 3) we didn't see any dolphins. We realize that it's hard to guarantee a dolphin sighting, but that was the main attraction... More

Enjoyed the charter out to Anclote Island. Would have like to be on the early tour but ended up on the second to last tour. The tour is about two hours including travel time to and from the island. You get 30 minutes on the island to explore or look for shells. Because we were on the late tour, the... More

What a great trip it turned out be. Half way to the gulf one of the engines had problems and we had to return to the dock. Problem turned out to be minor and back out we went. Made it to Anclote Key. On the way back encountered 2 different pods of dolphins. The captains went out of their way... More

There were 4 adults and two kids in our group. We spent almost $100. It was supposed to be 2 hours we got back 15 minutes early. It was just a boat ride to a sandbar for 30 minutes to collect shells that were very unimpressive. We saw no dolphins and the captain did nothing to find any. He just... More

Nice little boat trip. Opted to take the first scheduled cruise of the day to enjoy a "fresh" boat and island. The brochure said 10:30AM. We arrived a little before 10 and were able to get an easy spot in the lot. When we got checked in, were told to be down by the boat by 10:55, and started boarding... More

I called a day ahead and they asked us to be there a half hour before. OnStar stated 2hr 15 min from us. We left 3 hours ahead, traffic was horrible and we were late (close to sail time). When we got to the window Naomi was leaving a message for us on the cell. She's a tad "aggressive" but... More
