Great place to take kids to see nature.

Great small museum to take kids to see marine life. All types a aquatic fish and reptiles in aquariums built into the walls with history to read about all of the animals.

Was great when it was open. Restored boats and other handmade items. Info available on history of each boat. Sad it closed but due to deaths.

Owner sold everything at auction in 2013. Very sorry to see it go, the boats were extraordinary. Two different maritime museums bought the major stuff, so those beautiful boats are now being appreciated by many more people. A sad loss for Welaka, though.

This unique privately run family maritime museum is simply a must see in the NE Florida area.
