Very nice.

We really enjoyed this place. There are all kinds of plants and trees that are native to Florida. They have trails you walk through some just like a nature trail.

A very nice botanic garden with some really great trees and other plant species. Despite the fact that it opens at 10:00, no one was there to open the gate until 10:20. Finally, someone showed up and opened the gate and said not to worry about the $5 contribution. A couple of people got tired of waiting and left. That... More

A lovely urban retreat with a very unassuming main entrance that almost gets lost in relation to the industrial/commercial businesses located nearby at the western edge of P.B.I. airport that resides across the street. This is a nice early in the day trip as opposed to later to avoid the intense South Florida sun (and high humidity levels) typical in... More

For just a $5 optional entrance fee, you can roam around and see a good variety of plants and flowers. There are quite a few butterflies also.

I was not sure what to expect, I mean a garden center...next to an airport in a city? What a pleasant surprise this place is. The gardens are beautiful (much more impressive that some of the other more well known and more expensive gardens in the area). I wandered around for about an hour and a half through well-marked pathways... More

Beautiful garden with lots of flowers, shade, places to sit and take it all in. Our favorite spot was the gazebo where we sat and took a few pictures enjoying the view and the breeze. We also enjoyed watching the koi fish on the lake and the turtles.

Nice gardens near the airport. This was our first stop after arriving in town and did not yet realize that no-see-ums, find tourists very quickly! Bug spray is a must. Nice variety of local flora and fauna. We spent over an hour there and it went by very quickly. Recommended $5 donation was a contribution well spent.

Free, but they accept donations. Various areas portray different ecosystems. There are all the exotic spices you use, growing right there. Lots of shade along the paths from the Beobob and palm trees, Lake area. Was not bothered by insects. Handicapped accessible Bathrooms are clean. Easy, level, meandering walks. Unfortunately it is next to a 4-lane highway, and on the... More

However, end of March was not too interesting. Lovely to walk and explore and anticipate what might soon be abloom. Certainly worth a visit nevertheless.
