This beach is in the south east corner of Antigua and a bit of a windey route in from English Harbour. However, first the view when you come over the hill and see it.. Wow! as it was July and a non-cruise ship day there...More

The beach was so quiet and calm. We had a great time at half moon bay. Of course you need a car to get there. Great restaurant open even in low season, with good food for lunch. Would recommend!

The wife and I travelled as part of a tour. The beach is beautiful and off the beaten passed. The sand is great to walk on without any obstructions in your way. Walking across to the end where the water meets the rock is an...More

Took awhile to find but well worth the trip. Water was crystal clear and perfect for snorkeling. While doing so encountered a couple of locals spear fishing in the coral reef then cleaned their catch on the beach leaving the fish guts for the seagulls....More

Lovely beach but it is a little treacherous due to the rocks and waves. The far side of the beach was much calmer and ideal for families.

This place has a resort on the beach that was destroyed by a hurricane in 1997. But the beach is still beautiful and you can walk over to the other bay alone the ridge. Be careful for the Black Sea urchin. Also if you're feeling...More

Half Moon Bay is a lovely stretch of sand on the East coast of Antigua. There was a hotel there some years ago, but it was destroyed by a hurricane, and, sadly, the ruins have not been either restored or removed. Nevertheless it is a...More

There is Smiling Harrys along the road, but we went to the Beach Bum Shack overlooking the bay a couple of weeks ago. Absolutely excellent. Can recommend the grilled chicken strips.
