Watch out for the scammers at the entrance. We didn't go unfortunatly after being to it was 400000 each for entry. Then they changed the price to 400000 for both. We road a scooter and left, not trusting it would be safe around thieves.

You must walk to the second waterfall and go in for the dip. DO NOT TRY TO SWIM CLOSE TO THE POINT OF WATER FALL DROP! IT WILL SUCK YOU IN. Just swim around the edge and feel the breeze and splashes!

We hiked to these falls on a Tuesday and still encountered crowds of locals but only a few tourists. However, the falls are beautiful and the hike, just challenging enough to add some excitement. Sendang Gile is reached first by walking down 233 rocky, uneven...More

A guide is a good idea if you are planning to walk to the falls as the river crossings can be quite tricky. Also, if you go anywhere near the falls be prepared to get wet as the force of the water creates a very...More

We paid 10,000rp per person for the tickets which is a good price. The waterfalls are beautiful and definitely worth visit. We were a little disappointed though because we read that it is quiet place. Instead there were hordes of locals taking pictures in the waterfalls, taking showers and just sitting there...More

Questions & AnswersAsk a question
Would it be possible to visit this without a guide/ by ourselves? Since it is close to the various guest houses in Senaru village, I was wondering if this is possible without engaging the help of tour agencies. Also, how much is the entrance fees or any miscellaneous fees?

The walk to the waterfalls doesn't require a guide...that said, the little injection of cash into the local economy, is good for your karma :)

Hi To be able to reach the second part you need to walk a bit in the river (just 10-20 steps). That might be a bit difficult if you are carrying a baby. So up to how adventurous you are
