We camped at Vogel over spring break and had a great time. There are lots of activities and the staff was very helpful. We played mini golf, biked, and hiked to the waterfall. It was not very crowed when we were there, but I would imagine that it is very busy in the summer and fall. There are lots of... More

We love spending the afternoon at Vogel with our dog. You can enjoy the lake, the trails and the waterfalls. They offer cabins, camping, picnic areas and you can even rent paddle boats for the lake or just enjoy the small beach area or covered pavilion. We love it all! It's a great place to spend a few hours, a... More

Unfortunately we couldn't camp because there was no vacancies. We were able to take a nice hike around the lake. It took 30 minutes, but we stopped several times to take pictures and enjoy the beauty. It was very relaxing.

Nice location and cool in the summer, but you must reserve a cabin a year in advance. Established in 1931, so they have a very well established reputation for relaxation.

Hubby and I rented a cabin at Vogel State Park and just loved our time there. The area is beautiful and the bed was really comfy. We're foodies and usually find good spots to eat wherever we are, but couldn't find places with really good food there. Best to plan on doing your own cooking.

It's really a beautiful place. It's a great place to go camping. You can get your engagement, wedding, or newborns pictures done there. The restrooms are clean and so are the picnic areas.

Great place to go camping or day trip. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Love the very large lake and walking trail. Only negative cannot make reservations for specific campsites first come first serve.

I stopped in Vogel State Park today to see a friend camping there. It was a beautiful, scenic park - very quiet. The campgrounds were nice - a bit close together.

Beautiful state park and campground. Photographer and nature lovers paradise. Several easy hiking paths for families with small children as well as more challenging trails. Clean restrooms and picnic areas.
