As a community center the Buford Community Center boasts of a very nice theater with excellent acoustics and 2 ball Rooms for different size events. You are restricted to as who you can cater food from. The party has to end by midnight. However, the huge outdoor lawn is more of a show piece rather than a place where you... More

This is an excellent facility to see a concert. There is no bad seat in the house. I recently saw a jazz concert here and was blown away by the quaintness of the facility and the sound quality. I highly recommend this community center.

Went to see It is a Wonderful Life at the Buford center. The center was beautiful inside with seating for about 125. There really is not a bad seat in the center but the seats are small. It was a nice surprise that they had a concession stand. The show was incredible. It was not what I expected but more... More

We recently attended the comedy "I Hate Hamlet" at Buford's Community Center's Sylvia Beard Theatre. (This show is a great play to catch during the spooky season of the year.) Staff is extremely approachable and accommodating in seating those in wheelchairs or with other special needs. Every play I have attended here someone in my party needed some type of... More

Caught the Joe Grandsden Big Band show Sat night - fabulous! The theatre is intimate, maybe about 200 seats, with great acoustics - not a bad seat in the house. They bring in good entertainment at a low price - easy parking too.

We recently attended the theatre and were so very impressed by the quality of the acting and the beautiful venue. All seats contain great, unobstructed views and the acoustics are perfect. This beautiful new facility also appears to be a terrific place for wedding receptions and other celebrations.

I enjoyed an evening with friends here seeing a play. The building is beautiful and the theatre does not have a bad seat anywhere. There is a fountain for kids to play in and museum of Buford's history. Beautiful p,ace for a wedding.

We attended our first play in the community center and we will definitely be back. The theatre is small in size but large in providing a wonderful experience. The cozy feel of the theatre makes you feel you're right in the thick of the performance. The acoustics are wonderful. We saw "Moonlight and Magnolias" and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
