I really love this park, I have 3 grandchildren and they love to play in the playgrounds and go walking to and over the bridge. I just wish it had some more shade and benches that overlook the playground areas. A large Sun Sail above...More

This is a great park for family. Lots walking trails and playgrounds for kids. Very clean and well maintained. Lots of parking. Look out for big events held here, there seems to be areas for concerts and food trucks. Really nice place.

This is a beautiful Park along the Etowah River and a great place to run or walk. The walking path is a 1/2 mile and lighted at night. The park also connects to the park behind the YMCA.

I love this park but when it and the adjacent park were constructed it looks like they just bull dozed the trees. The park is a very large open park with no trees except the outlaying areas. On a scorching day it is too hot...More

Great park to do all the park activities you expect. Good kayak/canoe access for boaters. Great paved walk/bike/run access that connects to YMCA.

Yes this is a nice park hidden away off beaten path. We had no idea it was there until our grandson have a marathon. Nice restroom near playground. Nice walking path. Some really neat climbing equipment for kids and handicapped children.

If you enjoy walking or bike riding, make sure you visit Etowah Park...great views and we really enjoyed the woodsy area with many of the trees identified. An easy walk with very little elevation.

I am not sure. I haven't been down there in a while nor have I heard of it. I would imagine it would be a specific place to fly kites or RCVs (planes)

The trail at Heritage is .8 miles the loop at Etowah river is .5 the distance between is roughly .5. We generally run from the parking.lot to heritage, do 2 loops there and come back for another lap to the bridge for 3.1.
