The inside was open for candlelight tours around Christmas . Very interesting . A lot of interesting furniture and some local history. Not as big as the mansions in Natchez but worth seeing.

History of the most important part of the Civil War. Where the native Chickamauga Georgia, Chattanooga families gathered to form their troops. The home and grounds are spectacular.

self guided tour on Saturday afternoon was nice, but wished someone had been there to give us a little tour and background information about the place. It has a lot of history to the area and the Civil War and needs to be preserved.

This attraction is very close to the Ckickamauga National Military Park and well worth a visit. Lovely grounds & a beautiful house with a wonderful story !!
