Great camp sites. Spacious. Creek behind my tent bathrooms are clean and the lake n mountain views are great. A plus. They have WiFi.

This was a nice stop on Lake Burton. Docks, facilities and campground. Fishing by the hatchery or off the docks, fun time.

This is a great park for a picnic lunch. They have plenty of areas to fish. The fish also seem abundant. The hatchery is next to here and do trout releases every so often. The hatchery is also free to tour to the public. Both the park and hatchery have boat launches. The park does charge a day use parking... More

Convenient to fish hatchery & ability to fish right at campground with plenty of docking facilities. Many things to keep kids entertained with soccer, basketball goal fishing & playground. Loved the swings overlooking Lake Burton Campsites are small, very little space between sites, hard to level up and electricity is questionable...30 amp kept going out even if only a couple... More

We camped here in early May, 2016 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! I enjoyed our spot because there was a lot of shade from mature trees. The campground is situated on a beautiful lake, we took a drive to Black Rock Mountain State Park nearby and enjoyed some wonderful views. There are hiking trails nearby where you will see a... The family had been hiking nearby in the morning and we were looking for a nice picnic spot. Moccasin Creek was close by so we stopped in. The park is a small setting with a beautiful view of Lake Burton. There are picnic tables and swings by the lake. There is a fish hatchery next door to view several species... More

This is our 3rd day hiking to falls. This was the easiest trail along the creek. The falls are beautiful but not large. It's just a great way to enjoy nature. Fun for all ages. Tons of Rhododendrons but they don't bloom until May, I think. I wish I could come back then. The woods are covered with them.
