We had a great experience using Montaluce as the venue for our rehearsal dinner and wedding. Katie Gayler was very accessible by email to address any questions we had during the wedding planning process and on the day of the wedding, Jessie Caudill did a fantastic job coordinating all of the vendors and wedding party. Our guests had an incredible... More

I am sure this place is beautiful, but I dined there on a very cold night pre-Christmas, so there was no view from the windows. We were informed that we had missed a spectacular sunset. The food, however, was very good. They had a mead (fermented honey wine) on the menu which was fabulous. The prices are a bit on... More

The bar area was crowded but the staff was very accomodating. We were able to stand near the bar area until we could grab a table... then we moved outside for a fabulous view and then finally upstairs as they were preparing for a wedding. Great staff, fun atmosphere, food was good.

What a nice surprise. When planning a trip to Dahlonega, we found this place listed on TripAdvisor that is about 4 miles from downtown. One of the few vinyards open this time a year offering tastings and lunch. We were greated by Bill and seated immediately. Our waitress was Stephanie. Very pleasant and well versed on the offerings. We wanted... More

The wedding was held on the balcony at sunset followed by reception and dinner. Venue and views were spectacular. Food was average but serving a hundred people can be a challenge.

Went here for a wedding, it was a fantastic venue. The view was beautiful, and we thought the food they served was amazing! However, the wine left something to be desired. The prosecco was good, thank goodness they had it! The white wine (some kind of chardonnay) was totally gross. For a winery, you would think their wine would be... More

The vineyard, building, and its view are beautiful. The service, food, and overall experience was disappointing and not worth the visit. We arrived early for our reservation so got a bottle of wine from the bar, and two of the glasses had little flecks of metal in them from the bottle as the bartender did not remove the foil properly.... We drove up here after visiting the outlets in Dawsonville. The property is beautiful! Had brunch in the restaurant and the food was excellent (mostly local). The cheese platter was wonderful as was the trout. Our server, Charlie, was so friendly and knowledgeable in helping us pair our wine with our food. Thank you! We'll go back again when we... More

I have been to the winery on several occasions and I have to say, I have never really been impressed. The best part of the winery is the atmosphere they provide. The wine is just ok and the food is nothing to rave about. The food is overpriced, even for Sunday brunch without alcohol be prepared to spend 50 dollars... More

Went to the winery on Sunday with another couple. I was surprised how beautiful the winery was especially being so close to us. We did the red wine flight and the mixed flight. Everyone thought the wine was good but the service was so slow. It took about 2 hrs to go through the 5 wines. It was busy but... More
