Darien Outlet Center is a conveniently located open-air shopping center featuring merchants such as Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store, Gap Outlet, Coach Factory and Tommy Hilfiger, along with unique and eclectic shops, boutiques and thrifts stores. The streets are cobble stone, the flower baskets bloom bright and often the flags flutter in the coastal breezes. The savings are tremendous, and the shopping adventure is real. Easy access off Interstate 95 at exit 49, mid-way between Savannah and Jacksonville, within two miles of historic downtown Darien, "where Georgia began." Latest addition - James Allen, Southern Picker Antiques Outlet.

We stopped to visit the antique shop on a Thursday (12pm). There was a sign on the door with a phone number to gain access by appt only. We left and returned to the interstate.

This mall is empty. 90 percent of the stores are closed. It seems its under construction or the outlets took their business

It's deserted and very sad. Area depressed. The exit is under construction and draws minimal travelers. Several establishments have gone out of business, including the Outlet Mall.

Over the past few years this outlet center has continued to lose tenants. Aside from the local YMCA area there is only a Rack Room Shoes and an Antique store.

I read the reviews but found it hard to believe it was shut down. One March 18, 2016, there are a total of three stores. An antique (old timey junk) store, Ralph Lauren and Rack Room Shoes. That is all. Nothing more. Unless you are looking for those three type stores you will be disappointed. It was creepy driving through... More

Wow! What happened to this place? It used to be full go stores and lots of people. There are only 3 stores left. Rack Room shoes, the polo store and an antique store.

Practically deserted. Depressing. The visitors center, a couple of stores, and the YMCA are just about the only functioning places.

The first time we stayed in Darien, Ga . was because the mall was advertised on the computer. We booked a room across the street and boy were we surprised when we found out the whole mall( except for 4 stores) was closed down. We were really upset because that was the only reason we booked a hotel here. They... More
