Nice place, it has awesome views. Food was just average, service was slow and server was very confused I guess. Didn't get the orders right. Party of 5 was maybe more than she could handle.

We went with our church group. Had a great time in the woods. Waterfall was beautiful, walking down those steps was fun but walking back up is no fun for those who aren't in shape (wink wink ME)! We did the trail walk, definitely an...More

First time to the Falls or the AT. What a wonderful experience. We stayed at the Lodge the first night, then hiked to the Hike Inn and spent the night, then hiked back out. Just wanted to taste the AT and we loved it!!

Very strenuous hike up the falls! Beautiful scenery but be warned, this is not a stroll! Lodge restaurant at the top had a wonderful view, but mediocre food.

This is a must see!!! Nature's own air conditioning with breath taking views. You just can't seem to stop looking at it, and with the Blue Ridge Mountains as a backdrop, it is just the perfect place for photos.

It would be a solid 2 hours from I-85/985 split. Beautiful place and drive but maybe a bit out of your way to Jersey. Then again if you have time, check out Gibbs Gardens.
