Simple stay...for cabin getaway! Breakfast is typical buffet charge, but if you're gluten free , ask for separate scrabbled eggs. Beds are okay.. I suggest 2" mattress toppers or higher quality mattress upgrades by the hotel. The view is immaculate, since it's on hilltop of state park!

I've been visiting Amicalola Falls since I was in my early teens. It's a beautiful place. The Falls are so pretty and the walk up is doable for just about anyone if you take it slow. In recent years the steps have been installed. There are several other trails to hike, including the AT, and now a zip-line. The visitors... More

It's as touristy as a "hike" can be. There is a path to get to the top of the falls. The first part is steep paved trail, then 1/3 the way up it switches over to wood/grated stairs. It's truly beautiful at the top, and fun to say you climbed a mountain (my fitbit said 60 floors). But not super... More

My wife and I spent our honeymoon here several years ago. We went back today and it is even better. The views are spectacular and the waterfall is beautiful. The staff are very helpful.

This was a beautiful hike, but be aware if you have bad knees that it will hurt! I definitely recommend the stairs hike for viewing the falls, but there are over 600 stairs altogether, so be aware! If you aren't in the best shape, there are plenty of places to pause and rest as you walk up them! I took... More

There are stairs you can climb from the top to the bottom and vice versa. It is very beautiful. There is a play ground at the bottom and plenty of picnic tables at the top as well. Also there is a big field so bring a blanket in the spring time and have a picnic. Also there is camping at... More

Great place for just a day hike or spending a few days. Trails are well maintained. Take your camera there are plenty of photo opportunities. Nice place for families.

We just hiked up to the top of the falls. It was a great time hiking, not too busy either. The views were stupendous, and we had a great time. The stairs down kept playing ticks on my depth perception, which made it a bit difficult. All in all a great day, and the views we saw made those stairs... More

Wonderful place to stay with spectacular views. The lodge has been recently remodeled and is very impressive. We ate at the Maple Restaurant at the lodge. The food was good and the staff were very attentive. Would recommend it . Lots of things in the area.

To my husband and me, we love it, divine !. A place super careful, pure nature. All clean. All care. The waterfall is beautiful. Staff super friendly. This national park deserves a prize. We will return because it is worth seeing several times and we have recommended it to all our acquaintances.
