This castle is well worth a visit, but what really distinguished this from other castle visits was the quality of the tour. Colin, our volunteer guide generously shared his time and wide knowledge of Scottish history. He pointed out incongruities and anomalies with the construction...More

Excellent afternoon spent at Dundonald Castle. Colin our guide was a mass of factual and speculative information. Finished our trip with great soup and scone. Very friendly staff who made us very welcome. Thanks.
