We stopped in as we was passing thru on our way to Helen. This was our first vineyard stop of our trip. The Cabernet Sauvignon was phenomenal! I'm glad I grabbed a bottle because I didn't find any in the area that was better! Very cute tasting room. Enjoyed our visit.

Love Camping, Thank you for visiting with us and taking time to review us. Our Tasting Barn, as well as our Chimney, is a circa 1890 structure that we rehabbed. I'm glad you liked it. I'm happy to hear that you liked our Cab. Sauv., it is a very difficult grape to grow here in GA and your good review... More

Love this place! It's beautiful and the wine is varied and very enjoyable. Staff is very friendly and they even had blocks to keep our toddler entertained!

I was excited to visit the Vinyard and try out a local wine. I was a little disappointed by the tasting. Information was scarce other than the paper describing the wines and there were quite a few flies in the small tasting area. The wine IS good and I did purchase a few bottles though......

We stopped here on a whim as we were passing thru Ellijay and we were pleasantly surprised at the warm and inviting little cabin we encountered on the vineyard. The young lady assistant us was very knowledgeable and friendly and the wines were delicious. If you like sweet as candy wine, go with Chimney Noel in winter (seasonal) or sort... More

The tasting room is small and had one employee. She was pretty busy trying to keep up with 3 couples at one time. I think it's pricey at $10 for 5 tastings and a small glass. The Sassy Sisters is what we settled on.

We stopped in Cartecay and it was a pleasant surprise. They have a small tasting room and an area outside with tables, chairs and umbrellas. A couple of sweet ladies pouring tastings there. Live music. Some folks were playing corn hole. A fireplace burning. I am not a wine expert but the wine was good. A nice outdoor place to... More

Vicki, You can most certainly smell the apples in the air in Cartecay, as well as the grapes. We will be finished picking our grapes by the end of next week, but then it will be on to the wine making process here at Cartecay Vineyards. We hope you can stop by and have a wine tasting with us and... More

Whet here, poor service, not friendly, hot patio with music. Country musician was good, but not much seating in the shade. Wines were ok, the Peach Slushy was good and the Hard Cider #3 best. Meat and Cheese plate was very good, but atmosphere and space to eat and wines put this well below par go to Chateau Meichtry Family... More

10$ for 5 tastings!! Beautiful setting, indoor and outdoor areas surrounded by the grapes. The staff was knowledgeable and super friendly! They even had wine d slushies, which I recommend, even if you don't care for wines! We will definitely return, as should you!
