Excellent Festival with beautiful light, music and local art. The Historic District is quaint, unique and well worth a visit. It is great for biking and strolling around. There are several good restaurants within walking distance.

Beautiful, quaint & romantic! Wow - what an experience. We’ll be back. Eat at The Wharf (it’s been around since the 1800’s) - great service & food. Also...take the tram tour! Well worth the time & $!

Interesting tour, we took the last one of the day. Our tour guide was very good. Spent too much time repeating many of the sane stories. Cottages, very frankly were in poor condition. Time to make these historic cottages what they were intended to be...More

When the club opened in 1888, one sixth of the world's wealth was represented by its owners/members. Today anyone can enjoy touring the old "cottages." Some have been faithfully restored. Some are settling back into the wild surroundings, but all are beautiful to see and...More

Jekyll is a diamond, hidden among non-idyllic south Georgia, rural or industrial. It is quiet and flat (hello causal biking!). It is beautiful and historical. The beaches are virgin.

A fascinating story of the rich and famous who realized the beauty and natural wonder of this paradise island. While the remaining structures are historically impressive, the life of the early players wasn't really understood until the museum was toured where overall island life was...More

Visiting the Historic District is always a great pleasure and great way to unwind. Take a walk through the district under the live oaks and soak in costal Georgia.

The airport choices are JAX or Savannah. They are nearly equidistant from Jekyll. There is a tiny airport in Brunswick, but it requires an expensive plane change. Charleston airport is a little less than 3.5hrs away... More

Walking around and seeing sights, absolutely! They do have some shops, but I'm not sure about lunch. They have some snack shops, but no actual restaurant.
